When Tan died, Paul Broca preformed an autopsy and found that his brain was damaged at the left frontal lobe. That Tan infact had a lesion at his frontal lobe just as he predicted!

My name is Grace. I am a stroke survivor with
Broca's aphasia

I had a hemorrhagic stroke at the age of 45. I blog about my recovery at: www.myhappystroke.com. Interview by my husband at Spaulding Rehab, at about five weeks after the stroke (March 2010).

Broca's area is associated with expressive aphasia. Also the right side of the body is usually weak or paralized because the frontal lobe is important for body movement.
